Help asap! roasting time for a duck

The USDA says 165* in the deepest portion of the thigh and breast..You'll need a thermometer....When it reaches about 157*-160* take it out of the oven and let it rest. Carry over heat will bring it up to the 165* level....

30 minutes per pound or roughly 2 1/2 hours for a 5 pound duck, but remember...Ducks can't tell time...so you will need a thermometer.
