cake falling apart :(

Hi Guys,

hope you can help me, I was baking a cake tonight and it went well until i began to cut it, the cake just fall apart! I don't understand, it like the cake is not dense enough or something !? please help!

Can you post the recipe you used?
Was it warm when you cut it?

• 175g softened butter , plus extra for greasing
• 175g golden caster sugar
• 3 eggs
• 140g flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 100ml milk
• 4 tbsp cocoa powder

it was about room temp when i cut it...
