Pink Floyd the Wall

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that enjoys cooking.

Many times, I love the animation style used throughout the film.
Shame they didn't include "Hey You" in the movie, but Roger himself said the song was a filler song so I guess it's no surprise... even though it's one of he best songs on the album.

I still think Wish You Were Here and Animals are the unimpeachable masterworks of Pink Floyd.

mother, should i start a thread...

good morning, the worm, your honour, the crown will plainly show the prisoners who now stand before you were caught red handed, showing feelings. feelings of an almost human nature.

that will not do...

(it's kinda like how they select mods for forums... ;))

lol, sorry. i LOVED that album.

yes, the album.

on lp vinyl.

i was in college in '82 and the wall was practically my anthem. i tripped to it and the movie many times.

there's a bathroom in columbia u. and woodwork in nearby bars that have the words to "the thin ice" and phrases from "comfortably numb" etched in them.

This is a cooking website so I think we should stick with Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast!

The 70's were rough on your poor old Aunt Bea!

The Film, yes. Wore out the LP, cassettes and cd's. I have never seen Pink Floyd or The Wall Live. (sigh).

As previously reported on last month, Roger Waters was definitely planning on bringing the The Wall Live tour back out during 2012. The official tour announcement hit the news wires this morning and this time around he’s hitting ballparks like AT&T Park in SF, Wrigley Field in Chicago ….and Boston and NYC are still to-be-determined.

I saw Pink Floyed back in the 90's sometime. My girlfriend and I went to the stadium the day of the show on a whim and got tickets. We had nosebleed seats in a large outdoor stadium. When the pyrotechnics went off on the stage I felt like my eyebrows would melt off. I can't imagine what everyone in front of us felt. It was one of the best shows I have been to.

I saw that film when it came out.
I also saw them in concert in 1976 or somewhere around that time at the L.A. Sports Arena......Dark Side of the Moon concert. No, I did not get arrested.
