Hi,

I received a cast iron grass juicer and wondering if I should not use it with fruits.
After reading some post I thought I might stay away from lemons, but how about oranges? apples?
How can I tell if what I want to juice is acidic enough that is not good to use it with cast iron? or should I just stick with grass only.

Welcome to D.C.!
From what I have read, this device should be washed and thoroughly dried after each use to prevent rust. Apparently, it really doesn't matter what you juice; it will rust if not tended to promptly. I doubt that acidic fruits will do any real damage to your juicer if you follow the manufacturer's recommendations for care. Good luck!
