Thanks Jim that the first time I have seen Eta with one of my heroes BB King and judging by the horn section it was in the mid 80s.
The Lady is at peace.

So sorry to hear of her passing. I grew up with the sounds of jazz, blues and big bands as my Dad loved them all. Etta James was one of both our favourites. When I go see him today I know he too will be saddened.

I just saw BB in concert last week. Not many of the founders of the Rock-n-roll sound left. See them if you can
Jim in 1989 I missed for the first time going to see BB.I was working on a UK tour and the dates clashed, we were sitting in the reception of a hotel in Swiss Cottage London the afternoon before we set off.In walked BB and his crew they were starting their tour the next day as well. For the first time ever I walked up to my hero and asked for his autograph. That was a night to remember.Never before or after have I asked an artist for an autograph.:)
