what exactally is slow roasting? Would braising be also considered slow roasting?

Roasting, slow or fast, is done with dry heat. A piece of meat in an open, low-sided pan, exposed to the heat of the oven.

Braising is done with moist heat. A piece of meat in a closed pot with braising liquids.

A pot roast is mis-named, it's braised.

I agree with that. But isn't slow roasting consider a temperature way below roasting? And I was thinking wouldn't braising be a form of slow roasting bec. Of the lower temp. And long cook time?

It's not a temp way below roasting, it's slow roasting. Slow means low temperature. Braising is a form of slow cooking, NOT slow roasting. Everything you cook at a low temp isn't slow roasting.
