Panasonic sd-2501 breadmaker, rye bread?

Hi

Has anyone tried to make rye bread using this machine? I have followed all the instructions (twice) and it comes out half cooked and horrible

Any suggestions very welcome

Hi Wendyrouse,I made light rye bread 2 days ago and it turned out fine I cooked it with the normal blade as I forgot to change it to the rye one and set the machine on 7 and it took 3 1/2 hours to cook.Hope this helps you Faye
