Very sad day! Thank you Explorer, for your guidance and those first steps on another world.

RIP, Neil Armstrong.

It seems like we've been losing a lot of our heroes and entertainers lately. :(

When he retired, he never cashed in on his fame. No books, public appearances, etc. Sorry to hear of his passing.:(

I remember being at a group picnic (my Dad's Lion's Club I think) and everyone brought a radio. Being at a lake under a tree on a blanket listening to that first moon walk. I was young but it was not lost on me at all. Those famous words became his legacy and yet he remained humble till the end.

RIP Neil Armstrong.

I know of someone who took his first steps on Earth to get closer to the television when Neil took his first steps on the moon. :)

Neil Armstrong inspired so many. I'm sad to hear of his passing.
