Adding seasoning to breads

when I had a bread maker I used to add an envelop of dry soup mixes or salad dressing mixes and the results were usually pretty tasty. Can I do the same thing with recipes that I make by hand?
 
Thank you! I am soooooooooo excited! Tomorrow I will get the oven that I ordered. It is an electric stand alone oven - as opposed to being built in - and is 65 liters...about the same size as the average built in oven in U.S. homes. That may not sound like much but the 2% or so of the Chinese people that have ovens (not microwave ovens but real ovens) only have 25-30L ovens. I spent more than 10 hours searching online for this one!
 
Am I better off to mix the seasonings with the flour before I start making the bread?
