TRUTH !
Electric Lady Studios was the first recording studio to be owned and operated by a major
artist. Jimi Hendrix opened the studio on August 27, 1970, Less than a month before his
death.
The studio, named for Hendrix's album, Electric Ladyland, is still in operation today,
with scores of well-known artists having recorded there.
