I've been making candy apples with my best friend and they taste amazing and look pretty good but how can you get rid of the bubbles (I assume air bubbles)? Also, how can I make the coating thinner? The recipe I've been using:
4 cups sugar
1 cup lt corn syrup
1.5 cups water
Food color
Mix well, allow to reach 310 degrees, & dip apples.
Couldn't be easier, except I'd like to lose the bubbles.
