Sausage making Sunday

We made kielbasa tonight. It smells awesome. The small taste-test makes me think that sausage with perogies (also home-made) should be on the menu tomorrow. The pork was ground by the KA but we have a hand-crank sausage stuffer that is wonderful to use. I cannot wait for dinner tomorrow!

I'll try to remember to take a picture tomorrow with the perogies. We made a pork-sauerkraut variety, and then potato-cheese, sauerkraut mushroom, and a blueberry cheese! All turned out great once we learned to handle the dough.
 
I saved the bit of sausage that was in the horn when we were done and after clean up I fried it up.

Oh yum. Twas mighty tasty. :yum:

I'll have a serving of the sausage, two potato-cheese and one blueberry cheese perogies. Thanks!! Keep the kraut, I'll fix myself some coleslaw.
 
And here I was hoping you had forgotten the fall off a stopped bicycle, breaking my elbow bit...
