As a kid I loved IHOP. I took my kids there a number of years ago and felt so dirty being inside. The quality (or my memory) had gone so downhill that I almost wanted to leave. My kids begged to stay so we did, but it was disgusting. If they are trying to clean up a bit by going the fast casual route then I am all for it. It could not be any worse than they already are. I was in a Wendys the other day and they seem to be doing that as well. It was much nicer inside with a nice fireplace and nice couches. I am all for this trend.

I haven't been to IHOP in 35 years. The last time I was there it was a family wedding breakfast and we were interrupted by a manager and notified of the death of a family member. Haven't been back since.
