August 10th Sunday Dinner?

Just put a whole chicken on the grill, all doped up with yummy herbs, for beer butt chicken. In a couple of hours, we'll have a bronzed, tender and juicy bird to enjoy.

Glenn picked about a half bushel of Italian green beans about an hour ago, some of which will make it to our dinner table tonight.

There's still quite a bit of a loaf of rustic bread that I'll toast with butter and garlic.

And, if it's chilled enough, a slice of fresh strawberry pie with whipped cream for dessert.

I have a feeling we'll be stuffed as the Thanksgiving turkey.
 
We'll have the luau beef again. I'm getting a jump on tomorrow by roasting some turkey thighs that are soaking in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, s&p. I made a lentil salad to go with that and for some lunches during the week. I'm also making some tatzhiki.
