The problem I thinm wasn't wuth the recipe itself, but it called for steak seasoning. I didnt have any, but had all the spices to make it.
The sloppy joes turned out SPICY in a very bad way. I ended up adding twi e as much chili flakes as I should've.
I always make delicious food so I doubled my recipe to have more for lunch the next day.

It is so spicy my husband cant eat it.. (he has an ulcer)

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this???
More brown sugar perhaps? ??

Got anymore ground beef that you can brown and add? Sugar will probably just make it sweeter and not really help with the heat.

I agree with CraigC. You need to add more ground beef to dilute the spiciness. If you don't have some, you could freeze what you made until later.

Wont more beef dilute all thw flavor? Should I also add more sauce to the remaining sauce minus the chili flakes?

Make a new batch with your original recipe, but no seasoning whatsoever, and mix them together.

Then go to Costco and get the REALLY BIG package of burger buns!
