Four months to Christmas!

Tonight's dinner will be fettuccine Alfredo and salad.

As you sit and plan for Christmas, what's on your menu.

No planning for Xmas, way too early! We are having conch fritters, coleslaw and fries. The fritters are being served with a cocktail sauce.:yum:

Homemade cream of tomato soup and grilled cheese sammies here.

Actually today I was looking for some low carb Christmas cookie recipes.

Tonight will be a cup of vegetable soup, chicken salad and iced tea.

I'm so glad that soup season is starting :yum: , I miss it during the hottest part of the summer.

What did you come up with? Are Mexican Wedding cakes/cookies low carb?

Also thinking of trying to find my Christmas tree lights;). I need to establish a precedent of when decorations go up here.

I decided, since I have fresh garden tomatoes and basil, I'd go ahead and make caprese skewers. I just love biting into these :yum:

Looks like your wreath has a LOT of snow on it, GG!

Four months to Christmas!....
Something is seriously wrong with that...

I put together an Italian pressed sandwich before we left to run a ton of errands. It was so nice to come home, empty the car, and then have supper in front of us just about 5-10 minutes later. I'll have to plan like this more often.

The low carb Mexican Wedding cookies or almond crescent recipes are fairly easy to find. The powdered sugar is more of a challenge.

Mexican Wedding Cookies Recipe – Kate’s Healthy Cupboard

I have read about a powdered sugar substitute and am in search of it in my area. If I don't find it I may end up powdering some Splenda, cornstarch and coconut or almond flour in the blender.

Here are some other possibilities for low carb Christmas cookies..

I would like to make a few different recipes but I really don't want a house full of cookies, low carb or not. :pig:

I need to join a low carb cookie exchange! :ermm::ohmy::LOL:
