Pigs in a blanket is a true comfort food from my childhood. My grandkids are at my house right now and I wanted to make something special that they could help with, besides cookies. I thought of pigs in the blanket, but with a twist. I'm going to cut the hot dogs into bite sized pieces, in graduated sizes, wrap them in the bread dough to make a smowman head, torso, and bottom. I'm not sure what to stick into the head to make the snowmen faces though, maybe little BB-sized balls of dough for the eyes, a little dough cone for the nose, and a curves snake of dough for a smiling mouth. Other ideas for the eyes, mouth and nose are welcome. It should of lot of fun.
