Figs in Syrup

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon lemon rind1/2a lamon's juice1/2 cup water1/4 cup sugar2 tablespoon honey, clear2 - cloves1/2 cup walnuts15 - figs fresh or canned 1/2 cup yogurt1/4 teaspoon vanilla. - chopped walnuts or pecans
How to Cook:
1. Put sugar, lemon rind, lemon juice, honey and cloves in a saucepan. Bring to boil, stir until the sugar has dissolved. Boil rapidly for 5 minutes or until the syrup is thick and bubbly. Remove from heat, discard the cloves and lemon rind. Keep aside to Cool.
2. Insert one walnut half into each fig. Divide the figs between individual dishes.
3. Stir together cooled syrup, yogurt and vanilla extract. Spoon the yogurt mixture over figs. Cover and chill for 3 hours, then decorate with chopped walnuts.
4. Makes 5 servings.
