Last time we had moussaka, Karen made an extra pan to freeze along with some of the spicy tomato sauce. We are having that tonight. Just have to make fresh tzatziki.

We had our first frost last night, so I harvested some eggplant that would have otherwise gotten a little bigger. I will be fixing eggplant parmesan for dinner.

Veal piccata served over angel hair pasta, green salad.

Asian baked chicken legs with old fashioned mac salad..

Lemon pudding cakes for two is our dessert..

I'm defrosting a pork tenderloin. I plan rice or potatoes and a veggie as sides. Not sure what the preparation will be.

The weather is cooling down here in the desert, thankfully. This evening's dinner was a plate of comfort food - a couple of slices of leftover meatloaf, mashed red 'taters, and steamed carrots.

Mom had oatmeal and toast for supper, she wasn't really hungry. I had a salad, some chicken apple sausage, toast, and yogurt.
