Cream 5 Tab. butter and 1/3 brown sugar, add 1 cup flour,1/2 cup chopped walnuts and mix.Set aside one cup of this mixture to use as a topping. Press the rest into an 8x8 baking pan. Bake at 350 for between 12-15 min. Blend 1/2 cup sugar, and 8 oz of softened cream cheese til smooth, add 1 egg,2 tab. milk,1 tab. fresh lemon juice, and 1 tea. Vanilla, Beat well. Spread over bottom crust then sprinkle with the reserved topping. Return to the oven and bake for 25 min. more.Cool, then chill and cut into triangles or squares. You can double this and bake it in a 9x13 pan. I do and the kids buzz right through it. I also sprinkle with a sugar that doesnn't give way to heat. Looks good and I love it.Ice cream is nice as well.

That sounds delicious, and easy enough for me, a non-baker. I printed out a copy to try. Thanks!
