Dinner 9/12/06?

Last night I made a favorite vegetarian recipe - "Mushroom Stroganoff" - using fresh Cremini, Shitake, Maitake, & Oyster mushrooms sauteed with chopped onions in butter & homemade chicken stock, then simmered with dry sherry, brandy, & sour cream. Served it over egg noodles tossed with butter & poppyseeds.

Yes, I know. "Vegetarian Heart Attack In A Bowl" - lol - but I love it anyway!!

(Oh, & yes, for "true" vegetarian I would have used vegetable stock or water for the chicken stock.)
