Leftover pizza/flatbread. We went to a gourmet market today (got a small white truffle among other things), then went to a coal fired pizza place owned by the same place for lunch. The BEST pizza/flatbread we've ever had outside of Italy. Carpaccio for an appy. Craig had a meatball pizza and I had a flatbread with creme fraiche, porcini mushrooms, speck and onions. Too bad they are an hour north of us.

Fixin' to make a grilled ham and cheese on sourdough. A deviled egg, handful of cherries, and sliced English cuke for sides.

I took half of the leftover ham to my brother today, and vacuum sealed 1 or 2 portion meals for me for the freezer. He can find his own way to store his leftover ham.

Hi, just wondering if the gourmet market is in our neck of the woods?

I had some leftover duck from Christmas dinner, along with the back bones and wing tips, so I'm making some duck stock and will be doing Tom Ka Duck Soup.

Start of the weekend pub night. We had ABTs, nachos, and Margaritas.

We had grilled med.-rare NY steak, with twice baked potato, and dark roasted brussell sprouts w/worster, balsamic, & grated pecorino - loved it !

Good golly that was delicious with the duck. I'll do it the traditional way with chicken next time.:yum:

I made a Khichdi with those greens I harvested today. The greens were steamed in the MW, then puréed, and that was used as some of the liquid. This is a sort of porridge, usually with moong dal and rice, but I used whole oats, in place of the rice. It also had some raw peanuts and potatoes, and I made it quickly in the Instant Pot.
