I made a pot of chili this afternoon and it's still lightly simmering on the stove. It's 5PM here and I usually have already had dinner by now, but I'm going to wait a little longer and have a bowl of chili with leftover corn bread. :yum:

DH brought home a couple chicken sandwiches from Hardee's. Surprisingly good!

Lots of running around for SO and me. Then I got into having to key in all my contacts manually as all the "automatic" methods failed me.

As a result, Around 8:00PM I ordered some Chinese take-out. Pork lo mein and chicken wings. There were scallions, onions, sprouts and carrots in the lo mein so I have the veggies covered. ;-))

I made salads with lots of veggies and heated up some leftover veggie/Italian sausage pasta from the other night. I also made garlic bread with Penzey's Sicilian salad seasoning mixed with melted butter. Yummy! :yum:

Your food looks great, Taxy, but I always adore your margarita guy!

I had a job that took longer than anticipated, so it was a "fishing" meal. Pasta with oven dried tomatoes (from the freezer), onions, garlic, fresh basil, couple Tbsp of red wine, red pepper flakes, a little pasta water, S&P. Fresh grated parm to top.:yum:
