Okay, dinner will be burgers, roasted onions, f.f.

We are doing burgers too with some grilled vegetables. They will be especially good because my husband is doing all the prep & grilling!

With the weather we have been having the power has been iffy all day long, alot of flickering and dimming. I was debating on having a bowl of canned soup or chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, sauteed zucchini and cranberry orange relish. Not in the mood for soup I decided to go with the chicken fried steak. But do to the chance the power could go out I streamlined things a bit. I used Idaho potato flakes for mashed potatoes and nixed the zucchini. I just was not willing to dirty all those dishes and then have the power go out. Of course, the power did not go out (knock on wood) and dinner was great anyway.
