Had sushi at our favorite Japanese restaurant tonight. They always make us a "boat".

What a beautiful presentation. It's amazing how sushi has taken off just about everywhere. I remember when talking about sushi or poke would make my mainland friends go green. I kept trying to tell them what they were missing.

I know what you mean. If someone had told me 10 years ago that there would come a day when I would crave raw fish, I would've laughed at them.

I love schnitzel.
It's going to be rigatoni al carbonara here tonight.

Had a change in plan and went with a mac and cheese. Lots of Christmas cheese to use up. Pancetta, cheese sauce made with old cheddar, monteray jack, parmesan and then some mozzerella on top.
