Just popped a well browned pot roast into the IP.

Will add potatoes and carrots when the roast is done and then thicken the juices with cornstarch/water mixture. Will serve with garlic ciabatta rolls, to sop up the gravy.

Dessert will be lemon pound cake.

I'm having postdrome from yesterday's migraine, so we ordered out. We ordered from one of our favourite Italian restos, Scarolie's Pasta Emporium. I had "Fettucini al Pollo e Funghi". Stirling had Manicotti stuffed with spinach and ricotta in a rosé sauce and a Caesar salad. That was soooo good. But, my serving was humungous. I don't think I managed to eat more than a third of it. Well, it will reheat well.

One advantage to ordering out is that we don't have to have the same meal. Meal planning gets tricky when we are each avoiding different ingredients.

It's hard to find tri-tip here. I love it and that looks delicious!

We crossed over to the dark side today and had ham and pineapple on a pizza..
