How would YOU modify this recipe?

I've already made MY version, using http://beef.allrecipes.com/az/ItalianMeatballSandwichCas.asp as a BASE, but I ALSO read all 242 reviews first and made my decisions in advance.

Turned out great, but might have been a real disaster had I not sought the advice of the people in the reviews.

So, whatcha think? Based on the recipe and the reviews, how would YOU make it?

I'd skip the mayo and cream cheese, since it would be alot of work to put that mixture on each individual bread cube! I'd use a drizzle of olive oil, some garlic powder, and then sprinkle that with the mozzarella.

The thick coating of creamy cheeses was what protected the bread cubes from becoming soggy once the spaghetti sauce was added.
