i'm a novice cook... i have an hour or so to prepare a meal and i don't have a good recipe. what i do have is some sirloin tips, some red wine, a garlic clove... some spices... i want to cook the tips in the wine.
can anyone provide some 9-1-1 advice?

Wow, talk about being under the gun here lol. Umm, just sear it in a pan on med high heat, to brown, add the garlic. Next add the wine and spices and lower your heat a bit to make a reduction, so that it sort of carmelizes. Serve with some rice.
