It is 24 C here, yes it went from 5 C to this in a 3 days. It is warm, so we had burgers on the grill

WELL ---
don't y'know, being from Hawaii and having that Maui Wowie around ...
at least the smell was in the air alot! :ROFLMAO:

Oh, we're talking about dinner, yeah that's right, I was in a fog there for a second  :whistling

I have tons of leftover Costco Rotisserie Chicken, so it's that and CG we think alike, I made some Cole Slaw and I'll heat up some Baked Beans, canned that is.

Ordered takeout from our newish Italian place. Stuffed mushrooms and sausage and peppers in marinara. As I placed the order, I glanced at my watch. Exactly 4:20.

"Driving slow" in the fast lane. A euphemism for grilling wings. The grill has become like a stranger to me, such that I need to take it slow and steady just so I don't leave grill marks on me arms. O, yeah, it's shirt sleeve weather today too. We're also having Bush's grillin' beans and corn, onion, green pepper, jalapeno pepper, cilantro and a squeeze of lime salad.

Grape tomato, fresh basil, fresh moz, and Parm R galettes.

I usually cook everything from scratch but I had a hankering for a beef pot pie, a big one, like pepperidge farms but Dh picked up Marie Calendars. So he's not here and I thought, that it might be nice for me to have by myself. You know, a treat, since we've had a rough couple days with our plumbing and septic system. I cooked it up and before I finished 3/4ths of it I was overcome with too much salt. That's all I could taste and my mouth is burning from salt now 10 minutes later. There wasn't anything wrong with it, I'm just not used to processed foods and I couldn't finish it. The crust was lardish crisp and not seasoned at all, so bland in comparison to the filling. I'm pretty sure I won't make that again.

I have created a monster..GF loves my carbonara made with hot Italian sausage..I know..blasphemy...line me up in the piazza and shoot me at dawn..

Roch, your kitchen - your rules. ;)

Voila, dinner. I added the very minimalistic salad (AKA tomatoes) for color, but they were pretty tasty too.
