Tonight's (Top Round) London Broil, Sliced Mushrooms Sautee'd in Butter and Cabernet, Baked Russet w/ Sour Cream, Stinky Turnip Greens and the Side Salad...
Steak is just "slightly" over-done...

I could use a Sous-Chef .....

I had a cheeseburger on a mini Portuguese roll for dinner.

Will probably have homemade yogurt later for a snack. Flavor/add-ins TBDL.

Leftovers today - and used this opportunity to run all my errands before wet and then cold move in for the rest of the week. I finished off the chicken-barley stew; Himself had the last little brioche roll with the last little dab of pulled chicken, then had some of last night's brats and kraut.

I guess I was ahead of schedule. I had a little PB&J on another brioche roll yesterday as a snack. We like peanut butter, so around here it's always...

(Our kids love ^that^ cut!)

We ordered Indian food. Chicken tikka, lamb samosas, pakora, onion bhajis, and butter chicken with roti. I nuked some brown basmati to go with that. Oh boy, we have yummy leftovers. :yum:

Ahh.. someone who doesn't like peanut butter either Kgirl!

My plans for Ratatouille with Thighs was postponed until tonight, and just as well as I had more time to think about the recipe and make changes. For one thing, I did everything in the oven in a 9X13, and cooked the four glorified thighs on a cooling rack on top of the classic combo of Ratatouille so the juices and fat seasoned the veggies at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
The skin on thighs were seasoned with a paste of smoked paprika/ salt/ olive oil, and under the loosened skin was a chopped green olive /garlic tapenade.
Ohmygosh, it was soooo good, and healthy too.:chef:

Having mine right now. With a cup of coffee. A simple fold over on white buttermilk bread.

Note to self * Get more Grape Jelly.

I went with a healthier option of veg this evening.
The gravy wasn't as good as the gravy that you
find in Hawaii at the take out joints, it'll do.
I even have a bit of gravy leftover for a Loco Moco!

We had leftovers from Sunday for lunch yesterday, and, wait for it......

PB sandwiches for supper - Mom had a banana with hers, I had grape jelly with mine.
