DH tried a new recipe tonight, Mustard-Baked Chicken with a Pretzel Crust, since we had so many pretzels left over from the Beer Dip on Thanksgiving. It turned out to be very, very good.
I made a vat of creamy chicken and wild rice soup. We ate half of the vat. At least there's another meal of soup (plus some leftover from last night's veggie soup) so Cook (me) can have a night free from cooking later this week. Yay!
We had to run errands yesterday AM, so we stopped and picked up some fried chicken from the Food Lion and macaroni salad yesterday. Had enough for both lunch and supper.
