Today, has been stressful. No internet and no reply from Bell, who rents their lines to our ISP. They promised to call back. ? I fried up some of the Italian sausages that arrived with today's grocery delivery. We had some salad left from Thursday. We have a large batch of rødkål in the fridge. There was also some mashed potato in the freezer. So, that was supper. Surprisingly good for not a lot of effort.

Shrimp and grits. Alaskan spot prawns, mushrooms, creole gravy over extra thick cheese grits. I could eat this every week.

Hawaii-style Cold Somen Salad :yum:
This is such a satisfying cold pasta salad as DH and I refer to it as,
loaded with all sorts of goodies!
The dressing is so light, but this is a quite filling dish!

*ps - it occurs to me that a Hawaii-style dish was very
appropriate today, as it's Pearl Harbor Day as we called it as kids.
Lived here my whole life - up until 13 years ago - and only visited the USS Arizona Memorial just before we left Hawaii :ermm:

I made a pot of cheesy cauliflower soup and served it up with Grands biscuits. Had to make the biscuits before they exploded - the "best by" date was October 25th.

Put together pork gyoza, veggie egg rolls, Singapore noodles in dashi and called it Chinese Dinner.

Blackberry pie for dessert.
