Tonight's dinner was a combination of a burger patty with cole slaw and tossed salad.

I tried a new method of cooking the burgers. Got the grill going full blast then put the burgers on and flipped them every 30 seconds for 8 minutes. A very busy effort. They came out good. Next time I'm going to try flipping once a minute.

It feels like autumn tonight. What were supposed to be grilled pork chops became stuffed chops. I used cranberry-pecan bread for the stuffing. We also had green beans seasoned with herbs de provence and homemade applesauce. IMG_20210614_210735458.jpg

Jeannie was out shopping and eating with a friend so, I tried Jacque Pepin"s fried egg method. Perfect eggs over crispy hash browns. :yum:

Butterscotch pudding for dessert.

Craig made dirty rice from Paul Prudhomme last night. No pic cause it's just not pretty.
