We had smoked salmon on bagels with cream cheese, sliced onion, and capers. There were also dill pickles. It was good. It was easy.

Our freezer offered up a meal's worth of pasta sauce with sausage which we had over spaghetti with a salad on the side.

Himself says I can't make a "normal salad" like that's a bad thing...
We also had open face tuna melts on rye bread.

I made one of our favorite meals, and I don't think I've made this is awhiles...
I know I've mentioned this previously, I like to deep fry outside and this has been my setup for a while now
Until recently, I now have a dedicated table to my fryer and today I beat the rain storm! Thought I was going to have to go to a Plan B for Dinner
Kara'age Chicken aka Japanese-Style Fried Chicken with my Quick Cucumber Kim Chee (or kimchi, whatever) and steamed White Rice, Oishii or YUM!

I made a bean salad, using a lot of things from the garden - fresh beans, garlic, basil, jalapeño peppers, garlic chives, and all those cherry tomatoes.
Bean salad, with garlic and basil, as main seasonings. by pepperhead212, on Flickr
On the leftovers, I'll add some other ingredients, like black olives.
