National Pasta Day 10/17/17 Tuesday

Kayelle, did you say "new car"? Do tell, what did you get?

Well, the last time I bought a new car (Cadillac DeVille) was 17 yrs ago.
There will never again be a more luxurious and comfortable ride than an old Cadillac. She was still really beautiful inside and out, but her ticker gave out.
I really loved her all these years and it was kinda like a funeral for a pet.

Our new car is a Mazda CX-5, candy apple red with a white leather interior. Cars sure are different now and all the bells and whistles were pretty confusing at first. I'm loving being able to listen to my favorite music on Pandora with its 10 Bose speakers, and the astounding radar cruise control that will adjust to keep a preset distance from the car ahead.
SC gave his 14 yr old car to my grandson, and got a great deal on a year old car he bought from Enterprise rentals. He really liked his old Hyundai Accent
so he got another.
It's sure nice to now have two reliable cars that aren't likely to break down on the freeway again.
