As a side benefit of going to a NH farmstand yesterday to get some yeast, we picked up some really nice produce.

Tonight's dinner will be TJ's orange chicken enhanced with green and red bell peppers, pea pods, mushrooms and onions. It will be served over sesame flavored rice.

What are your dinner plans?

Spicy sausage stuffed pork chop, leek with spinach saute.

Spicy sausage stuffing was a tad salty but it was made for stuffing mushroom caps so I forgave the salt. It was just sitting there all lonely like in the freezer, needed rescuing before it had to hit the trash bin.

Was absolutely delish. Had a 2nd chop cooked at the same time so tomorrow it will be either breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Blissfully eating crunchy shrimp sushi, It is sooooo good.

Had an ahi tuna poke bowl for lunch, another great meal.

I had planned to make a very simple meal, but got a migraine. DH wasn't up for cooking so we ordered out. I got a "2 stick, chicken souvlaki platter" and DH got a pizza. That souvlaki was really moist, tender, and wonderfully seasoned.

Tonight, I took half of the leftovers from that black beans with bacon and tequila and made some chilaquiles with it. I thinned it out, and layered it with some tortilla chips. It was very much like that recipe in Rick Bayless's Mexican Kitchen. That was also topped with crema and queso fresco, if I recall.

I made a new recipe, Seared Sea Bass with Lemon-Olive White Beans. Delish! Also had Carolina long grain and wild rice, and French green beans.

Thanks, Dave. The fish dish was so good! It included castelvetrano olives which are so buttery they practically melt on your tongue.
