Getting closer to the flavor I'm looking for in Chinese take-out wings.

Do you use peanut oil when cooking them? I use it for stir-frying. The first time I used it, I was surprised to find that it tasted much more like real Chinese food I'd had before. It made a big difference.

Actually, I broiled these wings. I do use peanut oil for stir fries.
 
Asparagus soup and potato wedges.
Energy balls, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, date paste, pear sauce, oatmeal, cocoa, rolled and refrigerated. A nice snack or dessert.
 
I finished the creamy chicken-rice soup, Himself had some turkey, and we both worked on cleaning up the leftover veggies. The last of the turkey will become soup this upcoming cold and snowy weekend,
