Ooh, I love Fronch onion soup. What kind of cheese did you use, Andy?

My "dinner" this morning after work was a fried ham steak, a coupla duck eggs, and a roll.

And then since my son's girlfriend was coming over for dinner, I made a turkey platter of sashimi.
Salmon, toro tuna, chu-toro tuna, and eel. Not pictured is store made Jap Chae, and a few California rolls.

Not a very productive day for us so, cooking was not high on my list.

I heated leftover noodles and green beans for Jeannie and I poached a couple of eggs for myself. (she doesn't care for poached eggs)

Pudding for dessert.

No pictures, I made Sheet Pan meatloaf and veggies. For the veggies, I tried something a bit different...new Red potatoes, mushrooms, sliced onion, and then green beans added when the meatloaf is added. Tossed the veggies in olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme & marjoram. DH said he liked the change for the veggies. It was a good and easy meal, and can't beat the one pan for clean up!
