The states I've lived in are numerous. I'd go with the Key Lime pie for Florida. Nevada will always mean chili to me. California, to me, is tri-tips cooked over charcoal and pinquito beans. New Mexico is green chili made with pork. Hawaiii will always be fried rice (with every pan-Asian cuisine as a close second). Hubby says pan-friend rainbow trout says Colorado to him, and that brats say Illinois to him. Virginia has such a myriad. Pulled pork on a bun in the south, and crab cakes in the north. Utah is, to me, corn on the cob, tomatoes, cherries and apricots -- so I don't really consider it a dish. Just some of the best produce the good lord put on the earth.
