Sirloin dinner July 4th..

Well, it's been a nice day. I'm all loaded up for some canoing on Saturday.

Tonights dinner. Grilled sirloin, asparagus, corn on the cob and a baked sweet potato(not in the photo, its in the microwave).

Simply fantastic flavors. the Asparagus was coated in olive oil, the corn I grilled directly on the grill as is shown. It worked great. I used to leave the husk on or wrap in foil. This is better!!!

The steak was seasoned with Field and Stream steak seasoning..

Hey hey! We are kayaking! Lucky for us, the river is flow controlled, downstream
of a dam. So we are guaranteed water.
Any other river in the area would be a walking paddle for sure.
Taking some hot dogs to cook for lunch... wanted Nathan's, but apparently
the Dog Eating contest inspired everyone to buy them... sighhhhh!
