Tonight's dinner was Tuscan butter shrimp, a tossed salad made with grass clippings (actually some kind of salad mix but that's what it looked like) and a glass of wine.

We ordered Indian food from our favourite Indian resto. We want to be sure to support them. They are only open for take out and delivery and only from Wed - Sun, from 16:00 to 20:00 with a limited menu.

We had lamb samosas, onion bhajis, chicken tikka, lamb patiala, roti, and our own brown basmati rice. Oh yeah, and German beer.

We had a cookout today, just the two of us. From the looks of it, though, you would think I was feeding an army. Nope, just making planned leftovers. Himself grilled hot dogs (technically smoked brats from Aldi) and (Butterball) turkey burgers. We remember the burgers being better than they were. I spent the better part of the afternoon making "Best Ever Classic Macaroni Salad" (sorry, Chungah, not in our opinion - too dry), "Bacon Ranch Potato Salad" (another one that was too dry, plus rather bland), and "Tabouli Salad" (it's been a long time since I made this - lots more chop-chop-chopping than I remembered, but good!). The easiest part was the baked beans - just opened a can and heated it up!

We have more left over than we ate. If I make another side dish or two, I might not have to cook until Wednesday.

Picture later, if I remember. I'm in my basement "club house" tending to laundry while playing on the laptop. Phone is upstairs in the kitchen...

taxy, I kinda remember maybe trying Andy's recipe. And maybe a couple others. We've decided that we really don't like ranch potato salad... and the bacon seems wasted in it. Himself decided he's tired of potato salad. Harrumph. I really like it!
