At Aldi's, I picked up some frozen pork cutlets and a mushroom spätzle mix. It made for an easy and quick meal. String beans straight from the can. I'm feeling pretty lazy today.
I made a Sunday gravy. Simmered the tomato sauce all day after roasting some tomatoes and garlic in the oven. Served over fresh linguine noodles. Absolutely
scrumptious.
Perfect day for that as I spent most of the day outside enjoying all the glorious sunshine.
DH had a craving for pork ribs yesterday, so he started a rack smoking while I went strawberry-picking with a friend. With the ribs, we had baked beans and a salad.
For dessert, I mixed honey, vanilla extract and Penzeys Pie Spice with plain Greek yogurt and macerated strawberries. Layered them up and topped them with chopped pecans. No-cook and delicious!
