The day we can post our dinners in three threads! :chef:
There's the dinner thread, which you are reading right now, Frank's football themed Tailgating thread, and my PPPC thread if you are participating (making a food/cuisine your opponent's city is known for).

So what are we cooking today, DC'ers?
My dinner will have a Cuban theme.

Leftovers here. I made a LOT of that tagliatelle recipe. It was pretty darned tasty though.

Leftover pot roast. Will cook up some smashed taters to go with.

I made oven baked tacos today. Fill soft corn tortilla shells with favorite fillings. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes until cheese melts and edges get crispy. The shells hold each other propped upright in the baking pan. Put on remainder of taco fixings, I used a dollop guac, some fresh salsa and sour cream.

While I like finger food, this turned out to be a knife and fork production. Maybe I over filled the shells? I did break off parts of the crsip shells to scoop guacamole. Interesting and tasty. I'll probably make regular tacos next time.
