One of my favorite breakfasts.

French toast:

1 loaf of cinnamon bread, sliced
6 large eggs
1/2 cup of half and half
2tbsp of B&B
powdered sugar for garnish

mix eggs, half & half, and B&B. Dip bread in mixture, fry in a buttered cast iron pan until golden brown. Garnish with powered sugar.

A good cocktail to have with the french toast:

Equal parts Guinness and champagne in a frozen champange flute.

norgeskog, you must have a Starbucks next door. I must have a cafe mocha, extra hot, at least two times a week. We have to drive to go to my Starbucks. LOVE the lemon, poppy, bunt cake.

I have one I can walk to and two I can bicycle to. I love their lemon poppy bundt cake, it is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmy to the tummmmmmmy. Also the oreo=type cookie crum crust filled with fudge, caramel and nuts and decatant; their gingerbread men are very nice this year as well. I have the coffee every am (my daughter worked at Starbucks until last week-end when she began student teaching and tutoring and =schedule got too tight) so I got the coffee free, have 8 pounds of the Sumatra in my freezer. Too bad we cannot meet for a coffee, personal chat. My bike does not ride on water, and I cannot walk there cause I do not know where the rocks are.
