We had a thunder storm and then I got a headache. It's not a terrible headache, but it feels like a migraine. I had already defrosted a couple of Italian sausages, but didn't feel up for getting supper together. Stirling helped. We stuck the sausages in the toaster oven at 350°F. The instant read thermometer said they were done in a little under 15 minutes. We nuked the leftover spaghetti carbonara and rice pilaf. We pulled out the last two dolmades from the same resto order as the rice pilaf. That was really quite tasty.

I had the store seafood department fry up some fish while I shopped. Nuked some russets and steamed ears of corn, which we will eat from the cob for a change. Either watermelon or ice cream for dessert...IMG_20220728_203152940_HDR.jpg

I made a homemade plumb sauce from ripe, fresh black plumbs. I cube chicken tenders in the plumb sauce and cooked in the sauce while it reduced, about ten minutes. Leftover white rice was nuked with butter, and placed into a bowl. All of the plumb sauce and chicken went on top, along wiyh shelled pistachio nuts for texture, and that little something you can't quite identify, but you know it tastes good. Fresh watermelon was desert.

And just so's ya knows, one black plumb makes enough sauce to glaze 1 large, cut up chicken, or several kabobs, or even a pork loin.
