DH has been having a tough week ... three doctor's appoints and still one more tomorrow

So I asked him what he would like for dinner tonight ...

(file photo from my "album")

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, my Quick Cucumber Kim Chee, Korean-Style Mung Bean Sprouts, and the ever present steamed White Rice.
:yum:

Good call there husband!!! ;)

Cold fried chicken and ranch potato salad. Freshly made chocolate carrot cake with cream cheese icing; cake made with my home grown carrots.

We had leftovers from Monday, when we ordered Italian food. I made a salad to go with that.

My Fettucine alla Giovanni:

And Stirling's Penne Romanoff (he had two more servings of his pasta and a bit of mine):

How do you make the bean sprouts???

Tonight, we had dinner at a El Salto where I enjoyed fajitas and Frank had tacos.

Had enough fixings left to make another Cuban sandwich apiece. Piled on potato chips and tiny cornichons for the sides. Cookies and milk for dessert.

Himself has been complaining that I make too much food lately. You guys might be seeing more dinners coming from my kitchen like this one.

Kathleen, years prior to us leaving Hawaii for good,
my husband started to collect recipes for me.
This one is from the Mid-Week Newspaper, I don't
think that they are still in business :(

This meal is one of our very favorites.
It hits all of the notes, Sweet, Savory, Salty, Sour and Spicy :yum:

edit : I forgot to mention, I use a scant tablespoon for Rice (non-seasoned) Vinegar ... DH does do real sour
