Rainy lousy humid day. Leftover carnitas for dinner to night. I may add some sort of rice to go with.

Spaghetti and meatballs, with garlic bread.

Pisketti, meataballs, and sausages here tonight (leftovers). No garlic bread, though.

But I do have a bagged salad of chopped veggies to go with it.

And Chubby Hubby ice cream for dessert.

SO, GD and I drove to the Cape Cod Canal to meet up with my childhood friend and his wife to catch up from our last visit and share lobster rolls.

I'm tossing together a quick dinner of spinach and mozzarella ravioli with a tomato meat sauce for dinner.

  • Green salad
  • Roast sweet potato
  • Sautéed zucchini
  • Cheeseburger
  • Fresh fruit, or maybe apple crisp, or maybe even both

Need to lose weight but for the last week and a half really haven't been eating enough.

DH had a long, difficult day and wants pizza. So we're ordering from our neighborhood pizza joint, whose chef is from New York and has a great pizza oven. We love it ? ?

Pirate took a bad fall this morning and is bedridden.

So tonight I am going to make one of his favorite foods. A Frittata. All diced: potatoes, ham, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, Swiss cheese, Parm Cheese, and anything else I can find to toss in. And of course eggs to hold it all together. By the time I get it all together, there will be enough for two of us.

Pasta seems to be popular tonight :chef:

Went freezer divin' and came up with
Boneless Country Pork Ribs slow cooked in homemade
Marinara and a pouch of scratch-made Pasta
topped with some Parm and fresh Oregano from
my patio pot garden, MMM!

Oh, man, I love fatty pork (or veal) in tomato sauce with pasta. With the cheese, it's just a beautiful thing.

That looks fantastic, K-girl.

Bucky, I really like using my microplane grater for the cheese,
it just plain looks pretty!
Well, adding fresh herbs bumps it up even more, I think anyways...
you eat with your eyes first, right?

When I put this pasta bowl down in front of DH he says,
"Don't you think it's still too hot for such a heavy meal like pasta?"
YEAH RIGHT!
It was gone in a New York minute!!!
Then I heard,
"Do you have more?"
:LOL::yum::chef:
