Thanks, KL. It was. I like the cottage cheese and often have it on hand so I thought I'd try it after hearing it was a good substitute. I knew it was good from the hamburger onion pie topping. It's a keeper.

We had pork ribs, rubbed, done slow and then sauced up right. Oven roasted potatoes, caesar salad and a boston cream/banana cake for dessert. I'm STUFFED.

Z, I really prefer cottage cheese over ricotta! Bet your lasagna was delish.

I didn't feel like getting into the kitchen tonight, so sent hubby to hunt and gather.
He came back with KFC dinners, actually not bad, and clean up was a snap.
