Ahhh.. just seconds a way from having chili.. I have had a craving for it over a week now. I sauteed some fresh mushrooms, green pepper, onion, tomato in a little olive oil (large skillet). I cooked the beef in the microwave with some minced garlic, then drained.
I added the cooked beef to the vegie mixture. I then added some tomato sauce, kidney beans (undrained), chili powder, fresh chopped basil leaves, fresh chopped cilantro leaves, half a jar of spagetti sauce (26 oz)... and waa laa.. it's almost done.. it's simmering on the stove over low heat... I'll add a couple croutons and some shredded cheddar..
Yummay!!!!

a giant mug of harney and son's earl grey supreme tea. if you are a tea lover, go to their website, www.harney.com. they have really great teas. my favs are the earl grey supreme (earl grey, extra bergamot, and silver tips), and the tropical green tea (sencha flavored with pineapple).
