I found a small pork roast in the freezer. I pan seared it and finished it in the oven. Buttered noodles and cauliflower in cheese sauce completed the meal.
 
We tried a newer local restaurant tonight. Decided on burgers and beer to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the repeal of prohibition. The burgers were perfectly cooked, the fries, which I normally don't like, were delicious - double fried! Beers were good, too. We'll definitely return for real meals in the future.

We had fried chicken and macaroni salad from Food Lion, along with sliced strawberries and 1 bite-sized cupcake each. Another Dr appt yesterday afternoon for Mom.
 
DH and I went to my master gardener group's holiday party last night. It was an Italian buffet. Food was not bad, but the company was fun [emoji2] We had a good time.
